DETECTIVES investigating an alleged armed brawl which put a Teesside primary school into lockdown have charged three men.
The incident happened at Berwick Hill Primary School, in Middlesbrough, on Friday morning.
Detectives investigating that incident and an earlier alleged aggravated burglary have now charged three men.
An 18-year-old man was charged with aggravated burglary, dangerous driving, two counts of attempted robbery, possession of a bladed article, burglary, possession of an offensive weapon, and criminal damage. He was also charged with theft of a motor vehicle, driving with no licence, driving with no insurance and failure to provide a specimen.
A 27-year-old man was charged with aggravated burglary, theft of motor vehicle and possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place.
And a 28-year-old man was charged with aggravated burglary.
All three have been remanded to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court today, Monday, May 17.
