THE A1(M) is has reopened following a crash in North Yorkshire.
It happened on the northbound carriageway, between junctions 52 and 53, between Catterick and Scotch Corner just after 2pm this afternoon.
Highways England said multiple vehicles were involved.
Diversions were in place but the road has now reopened.

Traffic stuck behind the RTC is being released via access gates onto local road. Please remain patient and with your vehicle.
North Yorkshire Police and Yorkshire Ambulance Service were on the scene.
