POLICE on Teesside have boarded up a property after reports of drugs activity.

A property on Newton Walk in Tilery, Stockton, has been closed down following ongoing reports with antisocial behaviour and drugs activity.

The property was closed down and boarded up on Wednesday, May 12 by Stockton neighbourhood officers at Cleveland Police and colleagues from Thirteen.

Stockton Neighbourhood Sergeant Gary Cookland said: “The tenants of this property caused nothing but misery in the Tilery community and thanks to the assistance of Thirteen, we have managed to close the property down.

“We would always encourage the local community to report any concerns they have in their community as we do listen and we will take action against individuals who we believe are involved in criminal activity.”

Anyone who has information on drugs activity in their local area is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, or independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, or online at
