MEMBERS of Bedale and Dales Croquet Club launched the new 2021 playing season at BASA (Bedale Athletic and Sports Association) on Tuesday, May 4 after missing out on the 2020 season owing to lockdown.
The croquet club is one of six sports clubs at BASA, Leyburn Road, Bedale and has full access to BASA clubhouse facilities as well as its own new croquet pavilion next to the three full size lawns.
The club invites newcomers who may be interested in taking up croquet to contact the club secretary, Rob Brown by email wardlebrown@gmail.com or drop in between 10am and 3pm on any Tuesday, the main playing day. The playing season is usually between April and October.
