THREE men have been arrested in connection with a series of alleged burglaries.

The men, who are aged 21, 23 and 28, were arrested in connection with several incidents in Saltburn this week.

Officers received a report of a burglary on Princes Road overnight between Monday and Tuesday, when a white Ford Focus was stolen along with a lime green pedal cycle.

The same evening, three motorbikes were stolen from an address on Cambridge Street and there was also a report of a burglary at The Spa Hotel, where nothing was taken.

The suspected stolen white Ford Focus was recovered following a short pursuit in New Marske around 6.40pm on Tuesday, and three males were arrested in connection with the incidents.

They were also arrested in connection with two further reports of burglary in Liverton Mines, which allegedly took place overnight between Sunday and Monday, when a motorbike and quad bike were stolen.
