A YORKSHIRE based family team who own well-known local luxury hotels and restaurants donated 300 Easter eggs to a local foodbank.
Lewis and David Moss, owners of The Wensleydale Heifer in West Witton, donated the Easter eggs to the Storehouse in Richmond in time for them to be enjoyed over the Easter weekend.
David's two daughters helped contribute to buying some of their eggs with their pocket money.
David Moss said: "We’re very proud to be part of the Richmondshire community and we’re very aware how lucky we are at The Wensleydale Heifer.
"When we were able to open over the summer months, we were phenomenally busy and as such, we’ve been able to keep all of our staff.
"In fact, we are anticipating being so busy when we are able to reopen on May 17th that we are actively recruiting for more.
“But we know that not every person or every business in Richmondshire has been so lucky and we wanted to do our bit to make sure no one missed out this Easter.
"The StoreHouse in Richmond do an amazing job supporting people."
