DATA released by Public Health England shows there were 19 new cases of Covid-19 confirmed in Oswestry in the seven days up to Sunday, November 22.

The map, which details case numbers in Middle layer Super Output Areas (MSOA), showed there were 13 cases confirmed in Oswestry East, while six were confirmed in Oswestry West.

The area of Gobowen, St Martin's and Weston Rhyn had 13 cases confirmed, which was two fewer than the number of cases in the previous seven-day period.

An increase of seven cases saw 18 new cases confirmed in Ellesmere, while five new cases were confirmed in the Trefonen and Pant area.

The area of Ruyton-XI-Towns, West Felton and Whittington had five confirmed cases.

Cases decreased by five in the area of Baschurch, Cockshutt and Harmer Hill where 13 new cases were confirmed.

Overall, Shropshire’s total cases in the seven days up to November 17 stood at 494.
