TWO friends teamed up to hold a Macmillan coffee morning with a difference at a North Yorkshire farm.
Claire Redhead and Sarah Seilly staged a Covid-secure cake takeaway in a shed at Dialstone Farm, at the top of Sutton Bank, raising £2,942.33 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Supporters donated cakes, raffle prizes and cash, and a hand-made garden table and bench gifted by a Macmillan supporter and promoted by Barkers Furniture Store, was won by Donna Taylor.
Claire and Sarah described the event as a "wonderful success" and thanked all those whose generosity made it possible.
