THE holiday operator Jet2 has announced further cancellations of holidays and flights across the UK - with flights from the North-East affected.
In an announcement, Jet2 told its customers that it had taken the "difficult" decision to suspend flights and holidays to three destinations.
It said flights and holidays to Prague, Paris from all UK bases, excluding the East Midlands, are suspended up to November 23.
Meanwhile flights and holidays to Budapest from all UK bases, excluding the East Midlands, are suspended up to November 25.
Jet2 operates such holidays and flights between Newcastle Airport and Prague in the Czech Republic, which will be cancelled.
What the airline has said
In a statement, the operator said: "We are obviously very disappointed to be making this announcement, as we know how much our customers look forward to their well-deserved holidays.
"We can assure our customers and partners that we remain completely committed to these fantastic destinations.
"We would like to thank our customers for their continued patience and understanding."
Will customers get a refund or voucher?
The statement said: "Where customers are affected by any programme changes, we have been repeatedly recognised for how we have been looking after then, and affected customers will receive a full cash refund."
