A NORTH-EAST arts project is looking for three people in Darlington to take part in its mentoring scheme.
Helix Arts is working in partnership with Creative Darlington and Darlington Council to offer mentoring, support and funding to three artists who are based in or have an interest in working in the town as part of their collaborative programme Flourish.
Helix director Cheryl Gavin said: "Helix Arts has continued to embrace what we can do.
"I am really pleased we are able to launch Flourish' to support the arts workforce and communities in Darlington.
"By listening to artists we have identified what they need and what support might look like during such a difficult time for the arts.
"We have collaborated with Creative Darlington which resulted in Flourish. We are hoping artists and organisations who apply will want to develop clear goals and hone their skills to engage and collaborate with communities to create and make art together.
"Artists will benefit from bespoke support, 1:1 mentoring, resources and funding to help make that happen."
