THERE have been no further deaths from coronavirus in the North-East and North Yorkshire.

Latest figures published on Wednesday afternoon confirmed there had not been any deaths recorded at any of the eleven NHS trusts for the region.

The total death recorded stands at 1,730.

A further 35 deaths were recorded in hospitals in England, bringing the total to 28,793

 

The total number of patient deaths recorded by each trust - as of 5pm on Wednesday, July 1:

  • Gateshead Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust – 135 no change
  • Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust – 201, no change
  • North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust – 140 no change
  • South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust – 254 no change
  • South Tyneside & Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust – 325 no change
  • Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust - 116 no change
  • York Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust – 214 no change
  • Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust - 80 no change
  • Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust (mental health) – 7 no change
  • Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust (mental health) – 7 no change
