TWO further people have died in hospital in the North-East and North Yorkshire after testing positive for the coronavirus.
Figures published on Monday afternoon show one NHS Trust in the region had reported two new Covid-19 deaths in County Durham and Darlington.
One of the reported deaths occurred on June 24, while the other was on June 26
There were no further deaths reported at any other hospital trusts in the region.
Public Health England reported a further 19 deaths, bringing the total to 28,671.
Two new cases of coronavirus have been recorded, in Middlesbrough and in North Yorkshire.
The total number of patient deaths recorded by each trust - as of 5pm on Sunday, June 26:

Gateshead Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust – 135 no change
Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust – 200 no change
North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust – 140, no change
South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust – 254 no change
South Tyneside & Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust – 325 no change
Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust - 116 no change
York Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust – 214 no change
Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust - 80 no change
Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust (mental health) – 7 no change
Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust (mental health) – 7 no change
