A DALES veterinary practice has further expanded, opening a second branch to their business in Leyburn.
Opening in 2006, Bainbridge Vets moved to their main site at the former railway station at Askrigg ten years later. Now they have a staff of nine including four vets, extensive facilities and offer a 24 hour emergency service for both large and small animals.
Having newly-opened a second branch in Leyburn on the town’s Herriot Court Industrial Estate they believe this will extend their facilities for customers. It has a large waiting room, a consulting room and a treatment area. To complement their work visiting clients on site, any drug collections for large animals can be made at the Leyburn branch.
Michael Woodhouse runs the Practice alongside fellow vet Davinia Hinde. He said: “Many of our customers are from the Lower Wensleydale area. Opening a branch in Leyburn helps to increase our geographical coverage of Wensleydale and will give both our existing and new clients a better service.”
