A CYCLIST died after being involved in a crash with a Porsche car on the A168 road in North Yorkshire on Sunday May 10.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash which happened at 1.45pm on the northbound carriageway of the road between Allerton park and Boroughbridge. The cyclist and the Porsche 911 Carrera were both travelling in the same direction towards Boroughbridge.

The 36 year old male cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. The 35-year-old driver was arrested and has been released pending investigations by the police.
