A BUILDING supplies firm has renewed its partnership with a leading Dales conservation charity.

JT Atkinson & Sons, an independent builder’s merchants with more than 160 years’ experience in the supply of building, plumbing and heating supplies has renewed its partnership with Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust. This will help tackle climate change and to promote more sustainable practices within the building trade, such as the reduction of plastics.

The family owned business, has 30 branches located across North Yorkshire,Teesside, Durham and the North of England. They will enable 500 new native broadleaf trees to be planted in and around the Yorkshire Dales, helping to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and flooding, while providing homes for our wildlife.
