FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire at a property in Chirk on Monday evening.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service was called at 7.53pm with reports of a chimney fire in Holyhead Road.
Two fire engines from Oswestry were sent to the incident. Crews used chimney rods and a thermal imaging camera to put out the fire.
The fire was put out by 8.44pm.
