Police have confirmed they are now treated a farm fire on Sunday as deliberate
POLICE say a barn fire at a farm near Hartlepool was "deliberate".
Cleveland Police is appealing for information about the fire, which started at Thorpe Bulmer Farm, in Hart Village on Sunday.
The incident happened at around 11pm when a deliberate fire was started, leading to substantial damage to a barn and the contents within.
Officers would appeal to anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously or any vehicles in the area around the time of the incident.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Constable David Angel from Hartlepool CID on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 49022.
