POPULAR Dales restaurant, The Wensleydale Heifer, was victim to a break-in last week.
North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about two burglaries which occurred in West Witton, Leyburn.
The first burglary happened on Chantry Garth between March 4 and 7.
Offender smashed a back window of the property, made a mess and took some jewellery. The second burglary happened The Wensleydale Heifer Hotel on Main Street overnight between March 15 and 16. Burglars stole the cash safe, staff tips and till float.
Police want to hear about any suspicious vehicles or circumstances.
