A TEENAGER has been arrested after another 17-year-old boy was allegedly stabbed near Hartlepool train station.
Police were called to the bus station near the car park at the train station at about 5pm yesterday after reports that a teenager had suffered a stab wound.
A large group of youths reportedly made off from the scene.
The boy was taken to James Cook University Hospital for treatment.
His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of wounding and he currently remains in police custody.
Officers are appealing for anyone with information or anyone who may have footage which could assist their investigation to contact Hartlepool CID on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 27885.
