A NEW show for children is coming to Darlington this weekend.
Shona Reppe is bringing her award winning show, The Curious Scrapbook of Josephine Bean, to The Hullabaloo, in Borough Road, Darlington, on Saturday, February 22.
The show is aimed at children over the age of seven, who are invited to the venue, which specialises in theatre for young people, to watch as the clues of a curious life unfolds and discover who Josephine Bean was.
Marketing officer Kimberley O'Hara said: "Join the world renowned scrapologist, Patricia Barker, as she discovers the secrets held within the pages of a scrapbook.
"Everything is flat, pressed, squished.
"A dusty, musty smell mixes with the scent of old lavender and slowly, page-by-page, the scrapbook becomes a window into a secret world and a curious life unfolds."
The Curious Scrapbook of Josephine Bean, which is produced by Catherine Wheels Theatre Company, has toured both nationally and internationally and won the 2012 Theatre Award UK for Best Show for Children and Young People.
