HUSBAND and wife duo Megson return to Reeth Memorial Hall on Friday, February 21, with their unique brand of folk music which draws heavily on their Teesside roots.

Three times nominated in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and double winners of the Spiral Earth Awards, Stu and Debs Hanna bring an infectious mix of heavenly vocals, lush harmonies and driving rhythmic guitars to the stage.

Between them, the couple play whistle, piano accordion, guitar, mandola and banjo and have gained fame on the British folk scene for their arresting and intelligent songwriting as well as their exquisite musicianship and northern humour.

Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start. Tickets are £14 in advance (£16 on the door) under 16s half price and proceeds are for the Memorial Hall; on sale at Reeth Post Office or contact John Little 01748-884759 or email: memorialhall@swaledale.org.
