A GALLERY is seeking amateur, emerging and experienced artists and photographers to exhibit in its annual Spot on the Wall.
The Station in Richmond runs the exhibition from Saturday, January 25 to Wednesday, February 26, and gives visitors an ever-changing display of art to enjoy and purchase, in a wide range of media – from photography and oils, to watercolours, acrylics, ceramics and textiles.
Whether the artist is a first time exhibitor, or they have been exhibiting for years, as a profession or a hobby, they sit side by side on the walls of the prestigious old station building. As a piece of art is sold from the artist's spot, they can replace it with another.
Gallery co-ordinator, Jennifer Rasbeary, said: “I am so excited to see the range of art and meet everyone that gets involved. It is so amazing to see an exhibition that incorporates new emerging artist alongside experienced ones. I love how that creates a real family of creative minds bringing the beautiful building of The Station to life. It’s a great opportunity for artists to sell and visitors to see such an eclectic mix of mediums that are truly inspiring and imaginative.”
To apply visit www.thestation.co.uk/spot. Closing date for all applications is Wednesday, November 13.
