POLICE have launched an appeal for information after thieves attempted to smash their way into a Greggs store.
Between Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning, the Greggs store on Portrack Retail Park, Stockton, was left with significant damage in an attempted burglary.
Police investigating the incident, which allegedly happened overnight, said nothing was taken from the premises.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police urged members of the public who may have information to contact the force on 101 and quote incident reference number 178139.
