A 31-year-old man from Shildon will bare all on national television this evening.

Ste Foster will appear on Channel 4's dating game show, Naked Attraction, where a clothed person picks a date from six naked contestants.

The warehouse operative at PWS said he applied to appear on the show after a friend tagged him on social media.

"I applied for a laugh really, it was a drunken night, I didn't for a second think I'd get picked." He said.

"I got a message saying that I had an audition, so I went down and auditioned, then I got another message saying congratulations you've been picked, I couldn't believe it."

Mr Foster, who has been single for two years, won a date with a 21-year-old trans woman from Glasgow.

He added: "It's one of the first times a trans person has been the picker, none of us had a clue we were just told she was stunning and to be fair she was.

"We went on a date but we agreed that nothing was going to happen between us. We've kept in touch though."

The episode is being aired in The Three Tuns, in Shildon, this evening where Mr Foster is making an appearence, fully clothed.

He added: "To be honest the last few weeks I've felt sick about it, I work in a factory and was expecting loads of banter but to be fair it hasn't been that bad.

"Now it's here I'm looking forward to seeing it, I would like to pursue a career in acting or reality TV and hope this helps."

Mr Foster is due to begin filming on another reality game show soon.

Naked Attraction will be aired on Channel 4 at 10pm this evening.
