THE Fox Inn in Guisborough town centre, officially reopened last week with Middlesbrough legend, Gary Pallister cutting the ribbon with landlord Michael Crane.

The pub has been given a new lease of life following a £350, 000 investment by independent pub owners Punch. Works included a full internal decoration to create a brighter, more modern and welcoming environment alongside new exterior lighting, signage and redecoration. This much-loved pub now stands out and offers customers a revamped outdoor space with new seating and festoon lighting.

Landlord, Michael, is well known in Guisborough having successfully run The Fox since 2014. He has also recently revamped the 8 lettings rooms the pub offers for bed and breakfast. Speaking about the investment Michael said “I’m so excited to be back open, the pub looks great and I can’t wait for everyone to come and see the new look. We have great plans to ensure The Fox remains at the very heart of the community welcoming customers old and new to come and enjoy their time with us.’’

With the refurbishment, the pub has launched a new menu featuring sharing platters and burgers alongside a Sunday carvery offer for families to enjoy. It will continue to have a range of quality cask, craft and world beers as well as premium spirit and gin menus. All the key sporting events throughout the year will feature plus regular live music events, pub quizzes and comedy nights.
