CYCLISTS of all ages visited Stockton for the two day Stockton Cycling Festival at the weekend.
On Saturday, a ride beginning at 8am from Stockton's Riverside saw people take part in a 'Tour de France' style escort with riders being able to chose from four lengthy routes.
On Sunday, dubbed the 'main festival day', people took part in a two mile traffic-free loop.
The event's 'Stockton Grand Prix' also saw some of Britain's major cycling teams taking part in an elite road race.

Races started on the riverside and those taking part rode through Thorpe Thewles, Carlton, Redmarshall, Whitton and Thorpe Leazes, before they returned to the finish line in the town.
Stockton Councillor Jim Beall said: "Whether you’re an experienced cyclist, a novice rider or a family looking for a great time, Stockton Cycling Festival is definitely worth a visit.
“It is always a fantastic weekend whether you choose to watch the action, take part in the free festival activities or simply soak up the atmosphere.”
