FOOD cooked over a campfire will be on offer this Father's Day at Ormesby Hall, on the edge of Middlesbrough.
Families are invited to bring dad to to the National Trust venue on Sunday, June 16 between 11am and 3pm.
Visitors can learn a new skill and cook dad a crumpet or marshmallow on the campfire then continue the outdoor experience with Bushman Phil. He will be sharing bush survival skills, from fire lighting to shelter building and rope making.
Leanne Allan, membership and visitor welcome manager at the hall, said: “Cooking on a campfire is an essential survival skill, so what better way to spend Father’s Day than in the fresh air spending quality time together, playing in the garden and watching the model railway trains pass by.”
