QUEEN Victoria will be brought back to life to celebrate the 200th anniversary of her birth.
Jean Robson, 80, is set to portray the famous royal in Kynren – a theatre production of England's history.
The actress will play the queen on an outdoor stage in Bishop Auckland, County Durham, next month.
Mrs Robson is the oldest member of the Kynren cast and will be the centrepiece of the royal's diamond jubilee scene.
She said: "I may only be one of a dozen or so kings and queens which appear throughout the performance but I like to think the audiences have a particular soft spot for her.
"The reaction I get when I appear for the first time in that wonderful open carriage, complete with footmen and pulled by six beautiful horses is amazing and I love playing the role."
The live action outdoor theatre show, takes place on Saturdays from June 29 to September 14.
