CRICKET lovers are in for a treat when the ALL OUT! Weekend takes to the pitch.

From Friday through to Monday there will be a series of matches mixed with a number of other fun events taking over Richmondshire Cricket Club.

Held at the club’s Hurgill Road ground, the four-day event offers something for all of the family. The fun gets underway tomorrow with a junior sports tournament during the day and live music from Riding Blind on the evening.

On Saturday there will be a game between the Club's 2nd XI against Middlesbrough 2nd XI on the afternoon with live acoustic music starting at 7.30pm.

The Sunday will see a Ladies Softball Tournament taking place before the family festival gets under way at noon, REME Band return to play two 45 minute sets during the afternoon.

On the Bank Holiday Monday, the event teams up with Richmond Meet for the Marching Bands Competition followed by cream teas in the bar.

Cricket club Chairman, Mark Layfield said “The Whit Monday Cycling was always a big event for us and we felt the need to introduce something to replace it. Last year's event was a fantastic success and we hope this years will be even better.

"We have been working with the Richmond Meet to make the two events complementary. We really appreciate the Meets cooperation and their generous sponsorship of our Junior cricket.”

All income generated from the event goes back into supporting RCC and Connecting Youth Culture’s Youth Arts projects for vulnerable young people in North Yorkshire.
