Customers get switched on to new Peugeot 208

RESERVATIONS for the all-new Peugeot 208 have now opened, with customers able to reserve online with a £500 deposit, all from the comfort of their own home.

Eager buyers can place a deposit on the GT Line PureTech 100 S&S eight-speed automatic (EAT8), BlueHDi 100 six-speed manual or the 100 percent electric e-208 model with actual orders for the all-new Peugeot 208 range can be placed from late summer 2019, with the car going on UK sale in early 2020.

The all-new PEUGEOT 208 range will be available with a 100 percent electric, petrol and diesel powertrains, and as part of Peugeot’s ambitions to provide an electrified version of its entire model range by 2023, the 100 percent electric all-new e-208 is powered by a 100kW motor and features a 50kWh battery, delivering a zero-emission range of up to 211 miles (WLTP) from a full charge.

Customers can choose from a range of charging methods for the all-new e-208, including 100 kW rapid charging, capable of achieving an 80% charge in as little as 30 minutes.

Full UK spec and pricing will be announced nearer the new model’s launch date.

ISUZU UK has announced that the new Isuzu D-Max XTR – the most sophisticated and authentically capable version of its award-winning pick-up – is on its way, after the prototype of this striking new model was revealed at last month’s Commercial Vehicle Show.

Developed for off-road enthusiasts and drivers who want a vehicle to complement their lifestyle, this pick-up boasts authentic capability with a bespoke Pedders suspension upgrade as standard and substantial kerb appeal with a sophisticated body kit and aggressive styling with its makers saying that all improvements have still maintained the Isuzu D-Max’s 3.5 tonne towing and load carrying credentials, ensuring that XTR is extremely capable both on and off-road.

Available in Splash White, Titanium Silver Met, Obsidian Grey Mica and Cosmic Black Mica, the new model features XTR heated leather front sports seats and a D-shaped sports steering wheel moulded for comfort and grip and trimmed in leather and suede with green overstitching, which matches the seats exactly. As a final indulgence, each bespoke XTR steering wheel is individually finished with green overstitching that is sewn on by hand.

Pricing for XTR starts from £33,999, available to pre-order now, with the first vehicles arriving in dealerships later this year.
