CYCLISTS can now choose the distance that suits their ability as registrations for a Stockton cycle race go live.
Professional and recreational riders can choose distances ranging from 36.7 miles to the tough 105.8-mile 'Tour de Moor' ride in the ninth Stockton Sportive on July 13.
Every ride departs with an escorted start, just like the Tour de France, and the routes will have feeding stations and support throughout.
Councillor Bob Cook, Leader of Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council, said: “It’s one of our most popular events across the year and it offers the right level of challenge for people new to cycling and those who are old hands at whizzing around on two wheels.
