POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a serious collision on a busy crossroads.
On Tuesday, May 14 a motorcycle and VW Up became involved in a crash on the A658 near Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
The crash happened at around 3.25pm at the crossroads with Dunkeswick Lane, also known as the North Rigton crossroads.
A police spokeswoman said:"The collision involved a Red Yamaha motorcycle travelling from the Dunkeswick Lane direction and a VW Up in blue travelling in the general Harrogate direction on the A658."
The motorcyclist, a 29-year-old man, and VW Up driver, a 32-year-old man, were both taken to Leeds General Infirmary with serious injuries. Police said both 'remain' in hospital.
