A 12-YEAR-OLD boy has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
The teenager has since been released under investigation following reports of an assault on a 13-year-old boy on May 7.
A “slashing” incident is alleged to have taken place in Thornaby, near Stockton, at around 4pm on Tuesday.
The 13-year-old was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees, Stockton, for treatment.
A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: “Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police on the 101 number quoting crime number 076348.”
