CONNOISSEURS are in for a treat next month when Darlington’s Indoor Market plays host to an award-winning Food and Drink Festival.
Feastivities, which returns to the town between Friday, May 3 and Monday 6, will begin with the food court opening on the Friday leading into a weekend packed full of fun and laughter with mouth-watering food and drink.
Some of the exhibitors at the festival will include The Chilli Jam Man, The Frizzante Man, Spud Gun Loaded Fries., On The Goa, Haworth Gin Events, Little Red Pizza Shop, Le Mini Macaron, the The Scottish Bee Company and many more.
Organisers say: “As well as the great variety of exhibitors, there will also be plenty of live demos and entertainment for all to enjoy. For the little ones, there is also children’s entertainment, including face painting, entertainer Tolf Rolf, singing chefs/waiters and burger making workshops with Junior Kitchen and Mulholland.
“Live music will feature local bands and artists, providing a perfect atmosphere for a fantastic food festival. The Jazz Festival will take place alongside the festival in the town with special performances from The Northern Monkey Brass Band, Sebastiaan De Krom and Martin Shaw.”
