VINTAGE tractors, motorcycles and engines from all over Europe will be converging on Newby Hall in North Yorkshire for Tractor Fest.

Organisers say the two days festival is the biggest event in the North with hundreds of engines, including up to 90 tractors involved. It's being run over the weekend of June 8 and 9.

The renowned march of the tractors will be held n the evening of June 8 from 5.30pm to 7pm following a route from the historic grounds of Newby Hall into the centre of Ripon where the vehicles will take pride of place in the market square. The Ripon Hornblower has been recruited to send the tractors back to Newby later in the evening. Other events at the festival include a specially constructed mini tractor track and exhibits.
