SILK Family Law has launched a partnership with Dales Business Women that will enable the organisation to run four lunchtime networking events in Richmond this year.

The firm has an office at Aske Stables and is sponsoring the Richmond group of the network for professional and entrepreneurial women in the Yorkshire Dales.

Sharon Davis, marketing and PR professional, started Dales Business Women just over a year ago. The Richmond hub, led by local business owner Jennifer Rasbeary, is the largest of the network’s four groups – the other three are in Hawes, Masham and Reeth.

Sharon Davis said: “The Dales Business Women events have been very well attended in Richmond and I look forward building on this in 2019 with Silk. Running a business or building a career can be extremely fulfilling, but it can also be a lonely place and I hope the events will facilitate new business opportunities while providing a platform where women can support one another.”

Margaret Simpson, a founding partner of Silk Family Law, said: “As a business owner myself, I know the importance of networking. Dales Business Women is providing much needed peer support and Silk is delighted to sponsor events that will help business women in the Richmond area.”

The second meeting is on May 15, from 12.30-2pm at The Smithy, Aske Stables, Richmond, DL10 5HG. For more information about Dales Business Women, including membership and events, go to dalesbusinesswomen.com.
