MEMBERS of The Northern Echo camera club spent an evening taking photographs of reptiles in an experimental workshop.
Small groups visited Coast to Coast Exotics, based on North Road, Darlington, to practice taking photographs of quick-moving subjects in low-light.
The evening was led by Coast to Coast's owner, Kevin Stevens, who has travelled across the world taking images of wildlife, documenting reptiles and amphibians both in the field and in zoos.
Mr Stevens provided a collection of reptiles, amphibians, spiders and invertebrates for the camera club members to photograph.
He said: "The photography evening was to allow fellow photographers the chance to take images of a wide selection of animals otherwise not easy to take photographs of.
"Both the photographers and the team at Coast to Coast Exotics both enjoyed the evening and will hold similar evenings again."
