A MAN who traded under the name 'Shift Your ****' has been fined hundreds of pounds by a council for fly-tipping.
Mark Testo, 28, of Hartland Grove, Middlesbrough, Teesside, was caught twice dumping large piles of waste on private land.
Trading as 'Shift Your S**T', the fly-tip was found near the former Abu Baqr mosque on Park Road North in Middlesbrough.
At Teesside Magistates' Court on Monday, February 11, Testo was fined £230 and ordered to pay costs of £582.50 and a victim surcharge of £30.
Councillor Denise Rooney, of Middlesbrough Council, said: “Fly-tipping is a blight on communities for which there is no justification or excuse.
“We will always investigate where instances of fly-tipping are reported to us, and will prosecute where possible.
“We are determined to stamp out this scourge, and cases like this send a clear message to the perpetrators that they can expect to be caught and punished.”
The court also awarded site owner Ali Bin Ali Luft compensation of £190 as he had been forced to remove the fly-tipped waste Testo had dumped on his land.
