A BESTSELLING author will be giving a talk about his new book at Theatre Hullabaloo.

Tim Marshall will be speaking about Divided: Why We’re Living in an Age of Walls next month.

The talk will encourage audiences to consider how money, race, religion and politics have all become divisive tools in the current social and political climate.

Covering China, the USA, Israel and Palestine, the Middle East, the Indian subcontinent, Africa, Europe and the UK, this gripping talk delves into our past and our present to reveal the fault lines that will shape our world for years to come.

Examples such as Donald Trump’s infamous wall are used to illustrate the history of division in America, as well as its rocky future.

The talk, which is part of the Royal Geographical Society Regional Theatres Programme, takes place in Darlington on Monday, February 25 at 8pm.
