A WOMAN has won a spitfire experience worth over £5,000 on an online competition.
Sherry Wright from Harrogate said she was thrilled when she found it she had won the prize in January.
Mrs Wright said she had planned to give the spitfire prize to her husband Alistair Wright for his birthday later this year.
She said her husband is a Royal Air Force fanatic, after his father served in the RAF.
She added: “I couldn’t have wished for a better thing to give to my husband on his birthday.
“He absolutely loves everything about them so this is going to make his world.”
The competition was run by BOTB.com who claims to have gave away over £25million worth of prizes.
BOTB said 75 percent of its entrants played online whilst others played at airports and shopping centres.
