MEMBERS of West Burton Art Group whose work is as varied in choice of subject as in materials and execution, have their second show of the year on Saturday and Sunday, November 17 and 18, in the village hall where they meet.

Wensleydale landscapes and Italian villages, green woodpeckers, lapwings, hares and seascapes all feature in a variety of media, including watercolours, oils and acrylics. The group has established a reputation for producing a work of a standard that belies their amateur status and most of the paintings are for sale.

The village green which fronts West Burton Village Hall features in at least one work. There is ample parking for visitors that does not encroach on the green itself.

The exhibition is free and is open on both days from 10am to 4pm. There are light refreshments (tea, coffee and a biscuit) and donations to a local charity yet to be named will be welcome. Admission is free.
