A WOMAN was taken to hospital after her car left the road and ended up vertical down an embankment.
Knaresborough and Wetherby fire crews released the woman who was trapped in the vehicle on Thursday.
"She was taken to hospital, her injuries are not thought to be life threatening," said a spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
