HAMBLETON District Council has introduced a new version of parkcards for use in the authority’s long stay car parks.
The cards are easy to use and drivers do not need to use the car park machines - they simply scratch off the correct day, date, month and year on the card and then display it on the vehicle dashboard.
A book of 16 scratchcards costs £40 to use in Northallerton, Stokesley and Thirsk long stay car parks and £15 to use in Bedale.
The parkcards can be bought online at hambleton.gov.uk; or by calling 01609 779977.
They can also be requested by post – write to Hambleton District Council, Civic Centre, Stone Cross, Northallerton, DL6 2UU.
Or collect in person from one of the council’s offices in Northallerton, Stokesley and Easingwold.
