A PHOTOGRAPHER with The Northern Echo has been shortlisted for a national award.
Sarah Caldecott has made the shortlist for the British Photography Awards 2019, in the pets and domesticated animals category with her image of Winni the Weimaraner.
Members of the public are able to vote for their favourite pictures in the competition, which closes on November 15.
The top four photographers from each category will be invited to attend the awards ceremony at London’s Savoy Hotel on the January 28 next year.
Sarah said: “I am delighted to have been shortlisted in the pet section of the British Photography Awards with a photograph of Winni the Weimaraner taken on the moors in County Durham.”
