THOUSANDS of people turned out to witness Stockton’s spectacular fireworks display.
The free, family-friendly event on the town’s Riverside on Sunday evening saw an array of colourful and breathtaking fireworks light up the sky.
This year’s theme of ‘War and Peace’ marked the centenary of the end of World War One. It was designed to be a tribute to the impact of war and a celebration of peace.
There was also performances from singer/songwriter Oli Patto, the Rock Choir made up of sixty plus individuals from around the region, and former X Factor contestant Sam Lavery.
Visitors could also enjoy a fairground in Parliament Street car park, as well as a smaller children’s funfair at High Street car park.
