A FARMING charity raised more than £5,000 at their Harvest Ball held recently at The Pavilions of Harrogate.
RABI, the charity that supports farming families in need, made a total of £5,200 from ticket sales, sponsorship, an auction and a raffle.
Sally Connor, the charity's Regional Manager North, said: "We are really pleased with the amount, and would like to thank Phil Gregg, of Ripon Farm Services, for supplying all the farm machinery inside and outside the room."
"Thanks also go to Rebekah Tadd for being our artistic director."
The black tie event on Saturday, October 13, was attended by135 guests, who enjoyed dancing to band Atlantic 45 from Hull.
