EMERGENCY services were called to the scene of a three-vehicle crash on a main road in North Yorkshire this morning.
North Yorkshire Police were alerted to the crash on the A59 near Moor Monkton to the west of York at about 8.30am.
The cars involved were a silver Vauxhall, a white Volkswagen and a black Mercedes, the force said.
A police spokesman added: "No-one is believed to have been seriously injured.
"Officers made sure everyone was safe, and are continuing to manage traffic in the area so that the vehicles can be recovered safely.
"Please help us by avoiding the area and finding alternative routes while we work at the scene."
The crash affected traffic between Kirk Hammerton and York but the police say the road is now clear and nobody was injured in the incident.
