ARTWORK created by young artists has gone on display at a library.

The current display at Northallerton Library showcases a wide range of art styles, techniques and influences created by members of Scribble Zone arts group and Scribble Vision animation club.

The groups are led by volunteer artist Wendi New and colleague Peter Gough, who stage sessions at the library for anyone aged between ten and 16. They give young artists the opportunity to experiment with their own ideas, as well as teaching them new skills and helping them discover their own style and identity.

Scribble Zone and Scribble Vision are supported by Northallerton Library and North Yorkshire Youth.

The exhibition will remain on show until July 15.

Anyone who would like to join Scribble Zone or Scribble Vision can attend one of the weekly sessions and speak to the artist leading it.

Scribble Zone takes place on Monday from 4pm to 5.30pm and Scribble Vision on Wednesday from 4pm to 5.30pm. There is a small charge for each session to cover the cost of materials.

Anyone interested in volunteering to support the sessions can contact North Yorkshire Youth at; Richie@nyy.org.uk
