PEOPLE living in the Vale of York are being encouraged to have their say on improving access to GP services on evenings and weekends.
The local clinical commissioning group is using NHS England funding to offer additional access to GP services on weekday evenings and weekends from October.
While some surgeries already provide some evening and weekend services, the CCG wants to ensure all are served equally.
The expanded service would provide more same-day and routine evening and weekend appointments, provided by a range of clinicians including doctors, nurses and clinical pharmacists depending on your need.
The CCG is therefore asking residents in the Vale of York to complete a survey to help shape the service. It can be completed online at surveymonkey.co.uk/r/ImprovingGPAccess
