A KALEIDSCOPE of colour will dazzle the audience as students of all ages blend music, dance and drama into a spectacular show for the community.

Students from Richmond School and Sixth Form College will be joined by pupils from Richmond Methodist School in an extravagant performance of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

The Sir Tim Rice and Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber classic will be staged at 7pm from December 13-15 with a matinee on the Tuesday.

More than 120 performers and backstage crew have rehearsed for months under the direction of head of drama Ian Henderson.

The starring roles will be taken by narrator Sophie Montgomery and Stefan Wardale as Joseph, who will wear a coat made by sixth former Eleanor West.

Mr Henderson said: “This has been a true community collaboration and we are expecting stunning results.

“The production has been complex, challenging and rewarding involving a cast and crew of 120, from adults to very young children, who have all proved equally dedicated.”
